The Yield Audit is a structured, 100-criteria assessment across 7 operational domains. The output is a Yield Score out of 1000, a priority-ranked action plan, and a consultant briefing that tells you exactly what to fix first.
What the Audit delivers
| Deliverable | Detail |
|---|---|
| Yield Score /1000 | Composite score across all 7 domains |
| Domain breakdown | Score and band (Critical → Benchmark) for each of D1–D7 |
| Priority Index | Every domain ranked by impact — tells you what to fix first |
| Perception Gap report | Where your view of the business diverges from what the audit found |
| 17-slide client report | Built in Canva — domain-by-domain findings + Yield Plan |
| Verbal debrief | 70-minute session covering findings, priorities, and next steps |
| Service triggers | Clear recommendation for which Sharpen modules (if any) apply |
Four phases. One clear output.
Owner Intake
Before the walkthrough begins, you complete a structured intake form covering your business context, goals, and your own perception of each operational domain. This creates the benchmark that the audit measures against.
Team Interviews
A structured conversation with 2–4 key team members. Not a performance review. A calibration exercise that surfaces the gap between what management believes is happening and what the team is experiencing.
Walkthrough Audit
The live assessment. 100 criteria across 7 domains scored 1–10 by Christopher during an on-site visit. Photos are taken as evidence. The scoring is not subjective — every criterion has a defined standard.
Data Review + Report
All four data sources are reconciled using the Triangulation Engine. The Yield Score is calculated. The report is built. The debrief is scheduled.
What gets audited
100 criteria across 7 operational domains. Every criterion has a defined standard — scoring is not subjective.
Menu structure, pricing architecture, GP analysis, dish performance
Food cost %, waste, purchasing systems, supplier terms, stocktake
SOPs, training consistency, service delivery, quality control
Labour %, roster design, casual/permanent mix, compliance
Review management, digital presence, repeat visit rate, local visibility
Atmosphere, layout efficiency, covers per hour, guest experience
Food safety, RSA (if licensed), record keeping, legal obligations
FOUNDATION OVERRIDE: If D7 Compliance falls below 40% in the walkthrough, it is forced to Priority Rank 1 regardless of other scores.
The only number that tells the whole story
Most audits return a list of observations. The Yield Score returns a number — and a ranked, weighted prioritisation of what that number means in action. The score is calculated using the Triangulation Engine, which weights four data sources:
| Source | Weight | What it captures |
|---|---|---|
| Walkthrough scores | 40% | What the auditor observed |
| Owner Flag | 20% | What the owner rated in their own assessment |
| Team Flag | 25% | What team interviews revealed |
| Perception Gap | 15% | The delta between owner and auditor view |
Investment
| Audit type | Investment (excl. GST) |
|---|---|
| Single venue, standard | $2,500 |
| Single venue, licensed (RSA domain active) | $3,000 |
| Single venue, complex / large footprint | Up to $5,000 |
